Binh Duong port locates on National Highway No. 1, right at the Dong Nai bridge  pier ,  belongs  to Ngai Thang village, Binh Thang ward, Di An district, Binh Duong province. Being at the border of Binh Duong province ,Dong Nai province  and Hochiminh City . That is a favourable position  for transportation .

+/ In terms of Roadway: The port is adjoining  to Bien Hoa IZ and very near to other IZs in Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces  where containers/ cargoes could  be circulated to/from the port during  24 hours /day. With the advantage of the distance (around  25km closer  to IZs in comparision with the other ports), taking the mechandise  exchange here , you can save  not only the time but also the money.

+/ In terms of Waterway : Binh Duong port is also  convenient since  it is  being free from tide effects , moreover  the open and clear canal  offer  great  condition  for cargoes  circulating  from/to the westbound region. Besides, the port is quite near Ba ria- Vung tau province , which is regarded as a potential  & developing area.

2.Characteristics:

- The Binh Duong port had been acknowledged by Vietnam Maritime Bureau  as one  sea port  in  the  Vietnam sea port system.

-  The port  is able to handle all kinds of vessels/barges under 5000 Tons DWT.

- Total area: 45.000 m2 with capacity of 3000 teus (divided into import / export areas, stuffing/unstuffing areas, reefer area); CFS: 850 m2

- Major berth length: 100m with two fixed Sweden electrical based cranes, capacity of 36T , 3 other minor berths which are available for barges under 500 T

- 1 shore crane with capacity of 110T

- 3 super stackers

- 50 truck heads

- 2 professional stevedoring gangs
